Liquid Petroleum Gas by Paradise Plumbing & Gas

Posted on August 7, 2018

Liquid Petroleum Gas is created in the oil refining process. The two most common forms are Propane and Butane.

Propane and Butane can be compressed into a liquid and stored or transported in a cylinder or larger vessel. Liquid Petroleum Gas has a higher energy content than natural gas, so less is required to produce the same amount of heat. Because of its compressible nature, Liquid Petroleum Gas is often used in portable cooking equipment and heating appliances.
